Cameo is committed to protecting your privacy. We acknowledge that it is your right to control your personal information and that we have a duty of care regarding the personal information you provide to us. We will only use the information we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998) and, unless you give us specific consent to act otherwise, our security and privacy policies govern the handling of your personal information provided to us.


Collection of Information
Here is an explanation of what we need to process your order:

To check your credit card and to deliver the goods

To communicate with you about your order and (unless you have told us otherwise) about other Cameo related matters

To charge your card with payment for the goods. This is done when you place your order.

To ensure that all information we hold about you is accurate please tell us about any changes as soon as possible. You can check the accuracy of information that we hold about you by telephoning or emailing us (see below for contact details). If anything is incorrect, we will delete or correct it.

Data is collected for analysis in systems such as Google Analytics using cookies that (are able to be) used to generate pseudonyms for user profiling.

We will never share your data with any outside organisation or individual for marketing or any other reason apart from the fulfilment of your order.

 


Information Storage
All the information you provide is stored in the UK and only on secure servers that are protected in secure facilities including firewall protection and in accordance with the law and the Which? Web Trader Code.
Our systems are all fully PCIDSS compliant.
The contract's content will be stored. You may store the terms and readily look them up. For safety reasons your order's data are not available via the internet. We keep these data in confidence in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We capture data at field level for operational purposes and may contact you in order to improve our service.

 


Data Retention
We retain personal data relating to enquires and quotations for six months. We retain personal data relating to Orders for three years or as otherwise prescribed by law.
Should you wish to have your personal data deleted from our systems please submit this request in writing. We will then delete your data free of charge within 7 working days.

Cookies
Our website places cookies on your computer (unless you have chosen to disable them via your browser).
You will be prompted about our use of cookies, via a popup appearing at the bottom of your web browser, when you first enter our website.

By clicking on the "Accept" button, you agree to our use of such technologies for marketing and analytics.

Security and prevention against loss, misuse or alteration of information
We have implemented (and will continue to implement) technology and security features, and operate within strict internal guidelines, to safeguard the privacy of your personal information and protect it, so far as possible, from unauthorised or improper use.

Access authorisation is granted only to key members of our staff. Backups are run to prevent loss of information, and our Internet servers are housed in secure facilities using the latest, and safest, technology. For more information read our Security Policy.

We reserve the right, from time to time, to review and edit this policy in accordance with potential changes to our business structure and as required by law.
 


Lawful Basis for Processing Personal Data
Data is exclusively used for the creation and administration of quotations and sales. No marketing to individuals is carried out using any personal data.

In the event of a data breach we will inform you if any of your data is affected.
 


Complaints
