Kitchens that also work well as communal spaces and somewhere for families to congregate are a great way to transform a house into a home.
Here, the client had a great idea of incorporating a large island feature into the kitchen design, with an area for cooking on the large induction hob with complemented by seating for four people at stool height.
There was also a requirement to design a suitable area to allow for a table and chairs to seat 10 people.
The main kitchen area was created around large format drawer storage units with the facility to incorporate two separate sink areas within the worktop sections and two separate dishwashers.
We also incorporated the latest boiling water tap for the main sink with an added waste disposal unit.
Above the large format drawer units we designed low style wall units to give the kitchen a linear look around this area.
Towards the rear we used all the tall housing units to incorporate various ovens, fridge and freezers with the addition of a lager built in wine cooler and two larder housings.
This furniture was designed in a dark matt grey colour to compliment the white high gloss finish of the main kitchen furniture with the addition of white quartz worktop surfaces allowing the spaciousness of the kitchen to shine out.
The furniture was from our German range in a handless design with grey handle back rails to compliment the tall matt grey furniture of the housing units.
