Idyllic Island

Epping Green...

On this project, our client had a lovely, large space to play with, and wanted the kitchen area to be as large as possible and the main feature of the downstairs of the house.

Having already been given an exact brief and a drawing of what they required we made a few tweaks and recommendations to enhance their plans.

The client wanted a contrast of two colours on their units.

We used Zerox HL Stone with stone carcasses and Zerox SY Ver Sherwood Manhattan with stone carcasses from our German handleless range.

The client wanted to create a feature/display shelf area as a central point, with tall housings along the back wall and centrally positioning low level units with shelves above, including lighting and glass in-between each shelf.

The hob was positioned on the island with the boxing in above housing the hood. On the end of the island the client requested a large seating area for six which dropped down to low level, instead of having all at the same height.

The two sink bowls are positioned in front of the window, with storage below including the integrated dishwasher and a recycling bin unit.

The finished product looks amazing, with both colours working really well together, contrasting against the dark brown Unistone 20mm Quartz work surface.
